Meet Us.

Different Strengths. One Mission.

Hope Marks was built by people who believe big ideas shouldn't stay ideas simply because you don't know what to do next.

Our team brings together experience in storytelling, publishing, social media, design, nonprofit development, business creation, community building, and more.

But what really connects us is heart.

We love helping people take the thing they’ve been dreaming about — a book, a business, a nonprofit, a ministry, a project, or a movement — and figure out how to actually make it happen.

You don’t have to know all the steps.
You just have to be willing to take the first one.

Bring us your idea.

We’ll help with the how.

Adrienne Jimerson is a Virginia based mother, advocate, community builder, Director with Born Abel, and former elementary teacher of 18 years. As a mother to a medically complex son who was born prematurely with Down syndrome and later diagnosed with autism, Adrienne understands firsthand the challenges, unexpected turns, and beautiful moments that come with raising a child who experiences the world a little differently.

Adrienne became involved with Born Abel through her passion for supporting families, celebrating children with rare and complex diagnoses, and making sure parents never feel like they are navigating their journey alone. As part of the Born Abel Director team, she helps build and support diagnosis-specific communities, develop resources and programs, welcome new families, and create spaces where families can find connection, encouragement, and a whole lot of fun. She is especially passionate about celebrating the perfectly imperfect beauty of every family’s story.

Outside of Born Abel, Adrienne is a wife of 21 years and counting and mom of four, including a 16-year old son, an almost 11-year old son, and 3-year old boy/girl twins. She enjoys family life, spending time at home feeding her backyard birds, learning to tend her rose and pollinator gardens, fellowshipping at church, playing Pokémon GO, going on road trips and collecting pressed pennies from those trips, as well as finding ways to turn big ideas into something tangible that can help other people. She brings a little grit, a little grace, and plenty of humor to everything she does, with a heart for reminding families that their children are so much more than a diagnosis or a medical chart.

Debbie is a California based mother of four, advocate, grief support facilitator, and 911 dispatcher. After her son Theo was born with Trisomy 13, she became involved in disability advocacy and supporting families of children with complex medical needs.

She currently serves as Director of Operations for Born Abel and is the creator of Functioning Griefaholic, where she talks about child loss, what life is really like after loss, and dysfunctional family dynamics. Debbie enjoys taking meaningful ideas and helping turn them into organized programs, stories, and communities that can reach others. She is especially passionate about creating opportunities for bereaved moms to come together and spend time with women who understand what it is like to live after their child has died.

She lives with her husband, Casey, their children, Ashlyn, Jack, and Grant, and their cats. Outside of work, she enjoys family time, trips to the beach, beautiful sunsets, and finding the humor in everyday life.

Samantha brings together a background in education, finance, nonprofit leadership, and community building with a deeply personal understanding of advocacy and storytelling. She holds a Bachelor of Arts and is currently completing her diploma in Early Childhood Education. Before beginning her career as an early childhood educator nearly seven years ago, Samantha worked in the financial sector, an experience that helped develop the analytical and organizational skills she still loves putting to use—especially when there is a spreadsheet involved.

Samantha also serves as Director of Programming with Born Abel, where she oversees recognition programs, develops and plans content, and helps share the stories of medically complex children, NICU families, and bereaved families. She previously served as Director of Membership for her local curling club, helping with membership growth and recruitment. Through these roles, she has gained hands-on experience in writing, content planning, organization, community engagement, program development, and turning ideas into structured, achievable projects.

Much of Samantha's perspective comes from lived experience. She is the mother of Evelyn, her medically complex daughter who spent her nearly five months of life in the NICU. Navigating the medical world as Evelyn's mom, experiencing child loss, and managing her own medical complexities have shaped Samantha's understanding of how important it is for people to feel heard and represented. She is motivated by helping others find the words for what matters to them, organize the ideas they have been carrying, and give their missions a voice that can reach the people who need to hear them.

Jessie is a storyteller, marketing strategist, author, and creative entrepreneur with more than 14 years of experience building brands and connecting people through meaningful stories.

But behind every brand Jessie

 builds is her own story.

She is a single mama to five children here on earth and two sons in Heaven, Abel and Oren. Abel was born with Trisomy 18 and spent 210 days in the NICU before passing away in 2023. His life inspired Jessie to create Born Abel, a nonprofit dedicated to helping medically complex, disabled, NICU, and grieving families feel seen and represented. In 2026, Jessie also unexpectedly lost Abel’s twin brother, Oren, at just three years old.

Through extraordinary love, loss, motherhood, and rebuilding, Jessie has learned that stories matter—and that the stories people remember are the ones that make them feel something.

Her work has reached more than 200 million views online, built a community of more than 200,000 followers, and helped create and publish more than 100 children’s books. Her products and work have also been featured nationally, including on The Today Show, Oprah Magazine, People StyleWatch, Better Homes & Gardens, and

Good Housekeeping.

Jessie created HopeMarks to bring that same heart, creativity, and storytelling experience to businesses and organizations. Because behind every business, every mission, and every brand is a story worth telling—and Jessie knows how to help people see it.
